WHY we do it

We wake up every day excited to be a part of helping you make marketing history. Just think about…we get to play with toys and cool stuff, many of us bring our dogs to work on occasion, and we live in Sunny California. Life is good. Our clients are great.

Another reason why we do it all is in support of many of the worthwhile organizations to which we have personal and emotional connections. KL&P is a women-owned corporation with particular sensitivity to women's issues. We donate, encourage and provide marketing on a pro bono basis to these groups...and we hope you'll learn more about them:

The Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance...Jon Kaufman's sister, Jaye, succumbed to ovarian cancer after a long battle with this stealth killer. COCA is a well-run, effective outreach to educate women and doctors on the warning signs and care.options.

Darja Academy of Kenya...as the first free all-girls secondary school in East Africa, we support Darja Academy in their fundraising efforts.

The Girl Child Network...the founder, Betty Makoni, was one of the CNN Heroes of 2009. Betty started this organization in Zimbawe to confront the abuses of girls and to provide hope and shelter.
